Any work.
Any format.
Any period.

I am a collector based in Warsaw with a deep love for Stryjeńska's vibrant world — from her great interwar paintings to her portfolios, posters and illustrated books. I buy directly from people, without gallery commissions or auction fees.

No piece is too modest. I am just as interested in a single pochoir print as in a major painting. Feel free to get in touch with no pressure at all.

Zofia
Stryjeńska
1891 — 1976

Born in Kraków in 1891, Stryjeńska defied the gender barriers of her time by disguising herself as a man to study at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. Her bold spirit defined a career unlike any other in Polish art.

At the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale, her monumental panels for the Polish Pavilion won five international awards and established her as one of the foremost Art Deco artists in Europe. Nicknamed the "Princess of Polish Art," her vivid folk-inspired work remains among the most beloved and collectible of the interwar period.

"Only in the countryside can you find colour. Our life is terribly grey." — Zofia Stryjeńska
